Gnarled Rustic Black and White Cedar Trees in Snow

Shot at a local park in Owen Sound, Ontario, rustic gnarly cedar tree trunks and the tops of their protruding roots, in the snow on a forest floor. I felt that the landscape was more striking as a black and white monochrome image, with the trees bark texture and strong light dark contrasting values.
