Curling Birch Bark on Fallen Tree Trunk

Walking through the forest at Hibou Conservation Area in the Grey Bruce region of Ontario, I spotted this lovely curl of the bark on a fallen birch tree. It begged to be photographed and made focal in the finished image. I love photographing textures in nature.
