Pair of White Paper Birch Trees

The way these 2 white paper birch trees were paired close together but seemed to be reaching in opposite directions, caught my attention. Shot in the Meaford area of the Grey Bruce in Ontario, near my home, I edited my original tree photo to be a monochrome as I felt colour distracted one from the shapes, contrast and soft blurred foreground grasses, and focuses the eye on the 2 white trees' trunks and direction of their branches.
