Exposed Gnarly Cedar Tree Roots in Forest

Shot during a hike at Jones Falls in the Pottawatomi Conservation Area, gnarly exposed cedar tree roots ascending an incline. I edited my original landscape photograph to be a monochrome colour palette which best suits the high contrast of light and shadow and emphasizes the textures in the old roots and wood trunks of the trees and the ground.
