Textured Peeling White Paper Birch Tree Trunks

Birch tree bark that is peeling is a joy to photograph. This photo features a close up, detailed look at the surface of a grouping of white paper birch trees in contrasting sunlight and shadow. Shot at Glen Forest in the Grey Bruce region of Ontario, I enhanced my original image to really emphasize the textures and curling pieces of bark on the trees' trunks.
