Urban Grunge and Nature in the Winter

I love shooting images that combine urban grunge and nature struggling to survive in the sprawl. This winter scene I spotted while walking to do groceries, at the edge of the sidewalk. Queen Anne's Lace, a single dried stalk, casting its shadow against the cement hydro pole, dingy dirt speckled snow surrounding everything.
